.In early 2022 we introduced the FL4-175 F-head L4 gasoline engine, and this time we brought its upgraded version -- the Cison OHV L4-175 L4 gasoline engine, which maintained a unique, mini and compact appearance and almost the same displacement, compared to the previous L4. But it adds red sports elements on the surface, roughens the crankshaft, and adopts bionics on the carburetor. OHV valve mechanism gives the engine a better power output performance than the F-head design for higher torque output, which is more compatible with RC off-road trucks, tows, etc. Equipped with a standard electrical starting, water cooling system and independent lubrication system, the new L4-175 OHV L4 gasoline engine will also be available in two versions, the KIT version and the finished version. The spark plug, ignition and water cooling accessories are not included, please prepare or purchase on your own. This engine is very well made. The quality is outstanding. The assembly is a little bit difficult because the directions leave a lot to be desired. The captions cover the pictures. This is not for a novus builder. A good working knowledge of engines and some electrical skills would be to your advantage. The transmission came in a well packed box without a word of instruction. I also have the V8 which I will be assembling next. I would recommend these engines for the quality of the parts and workmanship. Thanks, Stirling, for a high-quality product.

Oops!
The kit is pretty impressive.
What I did NOT like: The spark plug size is stated as ME8 (1/4"-32, or standard glowplug thread) of which I had plenty stuff in stock, so I did not order the ignition kit.
Now I am getting around to finishing the build, and to my dissapointment, I discovered that the plug holes are NOT 1/4"-32 but much smaller.
Since I noticed that the water pump has been redesigned, it is very possible that also a different plug size is part of the redesign-process.
I have ordered the ignition kit now, but I am not sure the plugs will fit.
PLEASE STIRLINGKIT, SEND ME THE PROPER KIT WITH THE PROPER PLUGS!!!!
I would be highly dissapointed if I would end up with an engine for which no spark plugs are availlable...

Another INCREDIBLE Cison Engine!
Cison Engines has done it again with their L4–175 17.5cc miniature four stroke, OHV four-cylinder engine.
The L4-175 engine is my fourth Cison engine I have bought from Stirlingkit, and what an amazing kit!
Just like the FL4 flathead kit, the L4 OHV went together flawlessly, was fun to build with easy to follow build instructions.
Parts quality, fit, finish, and layout is awesome. It’s easy to see Stirlingkit and Cison are proud of the L4, just by the kit’s presentation.
My kit arrived quickly, 4 days after it was shipped from Stirlingkit’s warehouse.
Packaging has always been perfect and arrives safely, just as each and every one of my orders have arrived from Stirlingkit.
Assembly instructions are in an easy to follow QR code based illustrated manual, in numbered parts & parts location format. Once I completed the kit, I installed the components of the starting set (Hall sensor, CDI, coolant lines & radiator) and had immediate success starting & running my engine. Performance is incredible, and tuning is very straightforward.
The Cison L4-175 definitely runs phenomenally.
