This ESD generator makes very impressive sparks and my grandchildren are duly impressed. The instructions and explanation provided are hard to follow. So I just put the belts in place, screwed in the crank and started turning it. Voila! great mini lightning bolts. The plastic structure is a bit wobbly and the disks have runout that brings them very close to the collecting spikes but it works as expected. The metal segments on the disks were a bit chewed up from contact with the spikes during shipping. This happened in spite of foam packing bits that were in place to protect them. I would like to get replacement disks but cant find the address to order them.
