I put this engine together in 2 days, about 25 hours total time. The only problem is that it was missing 2-part # 79 brass hose connectors. I am still waiting on them so I can start the engine and run it. The instructions were very easy to fallow. Mike
High quality machines parts. I enjoyed putting it together.My only negative is I still haven’t received the correct parts for gas operation.The cdi parts they sent were not the correct ones. I believe if you bought a nitro engine you would not have this problem.
THis V8 engine is a remarkable feat of miniature engineering a perfect copy of a V8 engine in working miniature,a credit to the Toyan team for this working masterpiece.The kit goes together faultlessly,take your time ,read the instructions,loads of inticate pieces require your fulll attention but no problems encountered.If there is cause to complain it is a little niggle with the two boxes that come with the engine,screws right length but wrong thread,little C clips missing one or two bits holding up construction and a little annoying.one missing bearing for water pump, the machining is absolutely faultless.The design and manufacture of parts to be complimented.Photos and video to follow of working engine.

Toyan has made many engine enthusiasts such as myself thankful and much appreciated. The overall quality of the Toyan engine line from the single cylinder to the V8 are hands down some of the highest in precision workmanship, materials and design. Toyan has done the impossible by keeping these amazing masterpieces such as the L400 and the V800 not only affordable for me, but they didn’t and never will sacrifice the quality for affordability.
